White House Initiative on Hispanic Education Community Forum July 16, 2009

Thursday, July 16, El Paso Community College President Richard Rhodes will host Juan Sepulveda, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans. A White House Initiative Community Forum open to the public, educators and grass-roots organizations will be held from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the Board Room – Building A, EPCC Administrative Services Center at 9050 Viscount Blvd.
The forum will give the community an opportunity to voice their opinions on how Latino education should be improved and what the White House Initiative should include. The information gathered from this session will serve as the foundation for the new presidential executive order that will govern the White House Initiative and will be signed by President Barrack Obama.
