In this summer evening, Mr. Yibing Wu will share with us Lenovo's transformation and his vision for Legend Holding. Mr. Wu played an important role in strategy development and negotiation of Lenovo's acquisition of IBM's Personal Computing Division and became the Chief Strategy Officer immediately following the transaction to led the initial business integration effort. Later on, Mr. Wu became Lenovo's Chief Transformation Officer, responsible for designing and implementing process and organizational changes as well as overseeing key strategic initiatives. After Olympic game, Mr. Wu, will join Legend Holdings as a managing director. Legend Holdings is the holding company for Lenovo, Digital China, Legend Capital, Hony PE, Raycom real estate, etc. Mr. Wu's new adventures include helping this top notch Chinese Corp to invest in US technology companies.

In addition, Mr. Wu will also share with us how McKinsey develops him at the center of the world's most influential leadership network, and what is his secret recipe of becoming a leader. Mr. Wu started McKinsey's China practice and worked as a principal, and then managing director.

Biography of Speaker:

Mr. Yibing Wu will become the managing director of Legend Holdings after the Olympic game and oversee more than $1Billion of private equity and VC investments.

Yibing Wu worked as Chief Transformation Officer at Lenovo. In this role, Mr. Wu is responsible for designing and implementing process and organizational changes and overseeing key strategic initiatives. Before this role, Mr. Wu was Chief Strategy Officer, where he led the company's initial business integration effort immediately following the acquisition of IBM's Personal Computing Division, and also played an important role in the strategy development and negotiation of the transaction.

Before joining Lenovo, he was the managing director of McKinsey & Company's Beijing office. While at McKinsey, he worked with a wide range of high tech and telecommunications industry clients, including Legend Group. Earlier in his career, he worked as a technology licensing consultant at Harvard University.

Mr. Yibing Wu received a Ph.D from Harvard University and he has a B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China.
