Oh, the torture…of a name. The one you got, the ones you gave – as a friend, a bully, a lover, a parent. Given names, nicknames, family names, project names, company names. We struggle and wince over them because they say so much in so little – indeed, they’re often a story unto themselves and create tales that bear telling. And retelling. For years, decades, generations.
