What's for Dinner? October 27, 2009

Come and take part in the wonderful free events for all the family at Southchurch Hall this half term.
Each weekday between 10.00am and 3.00pm you can listen to talks and watch demonstrations about the food of our ancestors.
The event kicks off in the 1940s with wartime rations on Tuesday, followed by the Romans on Wednesday, Victorians on Thursday and the Tudors on Friday.
It is a whistle stop tour of how our tastes have changed throughout the ages and promises to be informative fun for all the family.
Finally to round off a busy week at Southchurch Hall there will be guest storyteller to entertain visitors with chilling tales from a spooky noon to 3.00pm on Halloween, Saturday 31 October.
