In honor of National Fair Trade Month, Bena Burda, President/Founder, and Doug Wilson, Vice-President, of Maggie's Organics, based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, will discuss what fair trade represents and why it is important.

Maggie's Organics was founded in 1992 and produces adult and children's apparel made with certified organic fibers. The company is also the nation's longest-standing producer of clothing made with organic fibers. It is now the first manufacturer in the world to sell clothing that is independently certified to a new standard for Fair Labor Practices and Community Benefits.
