The museum’s current exhibition, The Sea Around Us, has inspired this family adventure in miniature boat making. In collaboration with the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum, the museum offers a fun session that demonstrates easy ways of constructing boats and sails. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will set their boats afloat on the museum’s own pond.
