Wharton Esherick & the Birth of the American Modern September 20, 2010

This marks the first major examination of renowned sculptor and craftsman Wharton Esherick. The exhibition presents over 100 of Esherick's works from the '20s and '30s, including furniture, sculpture, woodblock prints, drawings, paintings, as well as other ephemera that explore the vast scope of this artist's achievement.
