Performances of "The West Side on the South Side" are Sept 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellstone Center for Community Building.

An original play inspired by the stories of St. Paul’s West Side community, written by Al Justiniano, directed by Harry Waters Jr., and with original music by Becky Dale and Brandon Nam, West Side on the South Side features professional actors alongside West-siders.

Meet Mai who is returning home for the first time from her station in the army with a surprise for her mother; Lui (PAULINO BRENER), the neighborhood crazy; April, Summer, and Autumn, the three ladies who have lived the history of the West Side; and numerous other interesting passengers on the #68 Bus as it makes its way to La Placita in West Side on the South Side.

Remaining tickets will be sold at the door on a pay-what-you-are-able basis with a suggested donation of $10. Also, please bring an item (or more!) for the Neighbhorhood House food shelf when you come to the show.
