This eclectic group features 15 of Philly's finest, most adventurous performers from a wide array of musical backgrounds. They play music that is mostly rooted in Eastern European folk music traditions, including some klezmer, but with their own voices. "Our original material is deeply inspired by and indebted to the Eastern European traditions. We don't try to compose music that would pass for 'authentic,' but allow our imaginations to take hold."
