Sedge Thomson's West Coast Live radio show will broadcast from the stage of the Oshman Family JCC's Schultz Cultural Hall on June 18. Guests include Paul Ehrlich (Stanford's Bing Professor of Population Studies; President, Center for Conservation Biology, and author of Humanity on a Tightrope: Thoughts on Empathy, Family, and Big Changes for a Viable Future), Oscar Hijuelos (the first Hispanic to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction), Daniel Orozco (author of Orientation: and Other Stories), Marshall Chapman (Nashville-based musician, songwriter, and author), Current Swell (a band in the foreground of the "new roots" music front) and house pianist Mike Greensill.

Doors open at 9:30 AM; show time is 10 AM until noon. Books Inc. will sell authors' books after the show.
