West Coast Blues For A Cure- 2nd Annual Benefit Concert with Irma Thomas & others May 20, 2012

Sunday May 20th from noon to 5pm at Yoshi's San Francisco, West Coast Blues for a Cure will present their second annual fundraiser. There will be 4 live bands and silent/live auctions. The headliner for this event is the Soul Queen of New Orleans: Irma Thomas! Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, Alvon Johnson, and others will also perform. Come out and honor those who are battling cancer while enjoying an amazing music show. The proceeds will go to two cancer nonprofits: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (in honor of the late, great Etta James) as well as The UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Tickets start at $45. VIP reception includes food and bag of gifts including a cd of last year's event with Elvin Bishop and Jr. Watson.
