The West 6th Street Artists Market is a festive outdoor art fair held every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm, at 709 West 6th St. The Market features a variety of work by local artists and craftsmen including paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, clothing, candles and much more. All works are completely hand made by the artists; no imports, kits or resale items are allowed. Each weekend different artists participate, so the market is always fresh and new. Live music is featured on most Saturday afternoons.
The Market is located just off of downtown next door to Mother Egan's Irish Pub, which features outdoor live music at their weekly Sunday brunch from 11 am to 3 pm. Admission to both events is free. The Market is also convenient to Opal Divines, Katz's, Molotov, Hut's and Whole Foods.
