The West 6th Street Artists Market is a festive outdoor arts and crafts fair held every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm at 709 West 6th St., Austin, Texas. The Market features a variety of work by local artists and craftsmen.
Live music performances are featured every Saturday from 1-3 pm.
The first weekend of each month is "Fine Art Weekend at the Market", a showcase of works by painters, photographers, sculptors, potters, jewelers and glass artists.
The Market is located just off of downtown next door to Mother Egan's Irish Pub, which features outdoor live music at their weekly Sunday brunch from 11 am to 3 pm. We are also convenient to Opal Divines, Katz's, Rocco's, Molotov and Hut's. It is also walking distance from the downtown Farmer's Market. Admission is free.
To get to the Market from MoPac, go east on 5th St., then take a left on Rio Grande, and left on 6th. From IH-35 go west on 6th St. past Rio Grande.
