Wendy's Ride (Play Until Dark @ Wendy Park) June 30, 2007

Wendy’s Ride is a FREE ride takes participants along the proposed path to connect the Towpath Trail from Downtown Cleveland to Lake Erie. Currently, the Towpath Trail ends at 49th Street and Harvard and then picks up again for 1.75 miles through Steelyard Commons. This is only about six miles shy of Cleveland’s greatest natural resource…Lake Erie!

Wendy’s Ride is a round trip journey beginning at Wendy Park, then riding South to Steelyard Commons and returning to the Park. In total this will be an approximately 20- mile adventure through city streets and unpaved paths to showcase seldom seen city vistas and provide the opportunity to be among the first to Ride the Proposed Path to Lake Erie!

The purpose of the ride is to create energy and momentum in Northeastern Ohio to connect the Towpath Trail to Lake Erie, and link the Cuyahoga National Park to Lake Erie. Lets create a corridor of greenspace in our urban landscape that provides recreation for all and a reason to visit or live downtown!

After Wendy's Ride join us for the Play Until Dark @ Wendy Park outdoor festival to be held at Wendy Park on the same day. Click here to buy discount tickets in advance.

Check-in and Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Ride begins at 10:00 a.m.

This is a leisure-family friendly ride and participants travel at their own pace

Maps will be provided and the path will be marked
