Weight Loss Surgery Seminar January 9, 2010

Each month a weight loss surgery seminar is held for all interested candidates. All patients are required to attend the informational seminar prior to seeing the surgeon an initial consultation. At each seminar, we will cover in detail each of the surgical procedures including how the procedure is performed, risks and benefits, advantages and disadvantages, nutrition needs, activity and exercise requirements and what to expect following surgery. A surgeon, a registered nurse (coordinator of the program), dietitian and physical therapist will be present and will be able to answer any questions that you may have.
