Wedding Traditions of the du Pont Family, 1813-1915 March 12, 2011

The exhibit highlights heirloom jewelry, bridal portraits, two wedding gowns, artificial orange blossom hair decorations and other wedding memorabilia. It explores how weddings changed from intimate ceremonies in the home to the larger "white" weddings we know today.
