Webster Neighbors for Responsible Growth will be hosting a public forum on the three ballot proposals appearing on the November 3 ballot in Webster Township. The forum will be held at the Webster Township hall, 5665 Webster Church Rd., beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. There will be presentations from a panel consisting of members of Webster Neighbors, the Township PDR Board and the Township Board of Trustees, followed by a question and answer session.

The three proposals on the November 3 ballot are all renewals of existing millages, initially passed by voters in 2005. They are as follows:

* Proposal C, to renew funds for police, fire and emergency services
* Proposal D, to renew funds for the Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) program that preserves open space and farmland
* Proposal E, to renew Township general operating funds.

Webster Neighbors invites all Township residents to this free program, to learn about the results of the PDR program and the millage proposals.

Webster Neighbors is a grassroots organization committed to planned, responsible growth in Webster Township.
