Bryant and Stratton College Online and SalutetoSpouses.com will host a free career webinar for military spouses on December 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST. The webinar, “Score a New Job Before Packing Your First PCS Box,” will highlight strategies military spouses can use to find a new job before they arrive at their next duty station.

This webinar will teach attendees the following:

- Use your spouse networks to make connections – all those online military spouse chat rooms you visit are not just for trading coupons and gossip. Drop in to ask about local hiring trends, tips and leads on jobs
- Are you visiting the area to look for housing? Pack professional clothes and your resume as well and start knocking on doors
- Don’t limit your availability. Secure childcare and other family needs before interviewing so you can be ready to start work asap
- Don’t be afraid to say you are a military spouse! Studies show military spouses are not just as reliable as non-military employees but also stay with the same employer longer than non-military employees
