1 Market Street, 2nd Floor
San Francisco, California

Join us for a two day 'unconference’ on all things deemed 'Web 2pointOh' (and beyond) that will be filled with interesting conversations, insightful tips and tricks, and plenty of opportunities to show off your mad skills while helping others come into the fold.

Cost: $32.95 plus service fees. Please register online at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/37579401 or you may pay $40 at the door the day of the conference. Each registrant will receive a t-shirt, lunch and access to the after party. And as with all of our events, we strive to ensure everyone who wants to, can attend, and will be offering several 'scholarships' for those not able to cover the registration fee. Contact Kristie (kristie [at] brainjams [dot] org) for more information.

If you are not able to attend the unconference, we hope you will still plan to join us for the after party (Fluid - 662 Mission Street). Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and can be purchased at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/37813100.

And for those who have registered already (aka: paid - muy importante to do this folks - not just sign up here on Upcoming), please take a moment to complete a quick survey located in the middle of the page on http://www.web2point2.org/register/. This information will make sure we order the correct size t-shirt for you and will have plenty of good eats for everyone.

See you in a week!

OK - so now we need to start rollng on this. I have a bunch of blog posts to get out, but wanted to start here with the most important news.

We want you to lead a session - or perhaps just propose it and we can help you find someone to be a discussion leader. If you have something you want to talk about concerning the next phase of the Web and what is needed to reach more people with the amazing advancements already developed, here is your chance.

Write a blog post and tag it with 'web22talk'.

The one's chosen by the community for the unconference will not only get the extra exposure and Digg love, but will also be printed in our UnGuide and given out to attendees (as well as sent out to a few other important folks who are unable to attend)

My proposed topic is The Importance of Social Media, based on a Blog post of the same name I wrote up for Blog Orlando.

Also, most importantly - the event Web site is http://www.web2point2.org/

There's some Green Festival stuff that overlaps Friday, but I'll look at doing something on Thursday, about creating community, bringing it to the real world, etc.

Hi Gail, we are at 137 registered (paid) and will be cutting it off at 160 (which includes the sponsors and their guests). I need to hold 10 more spots for our sponsors which leaves 13 passes left for individuals as of this morning.

So, if anyone out there REALLY wants to come and has not registered yet...I would encourage you to do so. I never imagined we would sell out, but it just might happen.

Also, one of our sponsors, Personal Bee, is donating a handful of passes back as 'scholarships'. If you are interested in applying for a FREE pass, please contact Ted directly through http://personalbee.blogs.com/beeblog/2006/11/web_22.html.

Howdy folks, I am here to report online registration is now closed. Sorry, but I did not wish to stay up until 1am printing badges.

There are 'technically' seven (7) passes left, so if you would like to come, please do - just bring $40 cash.

I say 'technically' as we set 160 as the limit due to the space layout, but think we can actually go to 200 as I am sure not everyone will be in the same room at any one time. So, we won't worry about the number until the fire marshall starts tapping on my shoulder.

So, we look forward to seeing you tomorrow and engaging in some wonderful conversations.
