The birth of Weatherground can be traced back to when guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Jae Won met keyboardist David "BB" Lee in the greater Los Angeles area in 2004. Originally called The Return, Jae and David worked hard on a demo for over a year that laid the groundwork for their unique sound of electro inspired indie rock. At the dawn of 2005 drummer Tommy Contreras joined the fold as he worked with Jae and David to turn the demo into a living, breathing band. By the summer of 2005 bassist Sir Cassidy Greenwood joined the group and the foundation for Weatherground was set. After a year of gigs, constant rehearsal, and the addition of Jaz One to the group, the Weathergound are set to bring their sound to those searching for great rock n roll.
