The world premiere of Ryan Cohan’s new composition for septet. The work was made possible by a New Works: Creation and Presentation Grant from Chamber Music America and inspired by a month-long tour of Africa after Cohan was selected by the Lincoln Center for its Rhythm Road Program.
A docent-guided tour of Mayslake Hall will be offered before the concert at 6:30 p.m. at $5/person.
