Wayne Wallace Latin Jazz Quintet June 5, 2008

Grammy-nominated producer/composer/trombonist Wayne Wallace is a Bay Area icon for his contributions to Jazz and Latin Jazz with seminal Bay Area bands such as Machete Ensemble and Pete Escovedo. He brings his fiery Latin Jazz Quintet and original music to the "Summer Jazz" series at the Stanford Shopping Center, presented every Thursday evening at the Clock Tower Plaza, located at 180 El Camino Real in Palo Alto.

The group also features Murray Low on piano, Michael Spiro on percussion, David Belove on bass and Paul Van Wageningen on trap drums. The quintet has just recorded their debut CD for release later this year.
