Wayne Wallace Latin Jazz Quintet March 16, 2009

Grammy-nominated producer/composer/trombonist Wayne Wallace is a Bay Area icon for his contributions to Jazz and Latin Jazz. Known in the Bay Area as “the Doctor” for his arranging and composing skills, he specializes in Afro-Caribbean rhythms interlaced with modern jazz harmonies that will get you on your feet! His Latin Jazz Quintet release, "Infinity", has garnered rave reviews and won critical acclaim.

They bring their unique blend of latin jazz to the Bay Area's premier jazz club, Yoshi's.

The group consists Murray Low on piano, Michael Spiro on percussion, David Belove on bass and Paul Van Wageningen on trap drums.
