Get in the stream of things with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council at our 2nd Annual Summer Watershed Wide Event on Saturday August 18, from 9am until noon! We’ll be walking selected stretches of Johnson Creek to tackle trash and invasive plant removal, as well as mulching native plants to help them make it through the hot summer. A summer event allows us to work in the creek at a time when juvenile or adult coho, chinook, steelhead and cutthroat trout will not be present. *** Following the event, bring your instruments or your toes for tappin’ and join us for our first ever Jammin’ for Salmon BBQ, starting at noon. Bring your instrument and be a part of the open jam session or just sit back and enjoy the music! A BBQ lunch will be provided to all volunteers. Be a part of this great community event!
