Beginners will explore the vast assortment of watercolor techniques that will help them to develop their own watercolor painting by being introduced to color mixing, materials and watercolor techniques.

Students who have had previous experience in watercolor will take the fundamentals of watercolor to the next level through using their own personal expression and subject matter.

Instructor: Rick Brogan

Supplies: Watercolor paint starter or primer set of 6 - 8 tubes, paper towels, sketch pad, kneaded eraser, pencils (no harder than HB), wide-mouth plastic jug, palette (11” x 15” white, metal or plastic), pad of watercolor paper (140 lb. rough surface no smaller than 10” x 14”), x-acto knife or single -edge razor blade, brushes (synthetic sable and soft watercolor bristle), 1” and 1/2” flat, #1 and #6 - #9 round pointed brushes.
