BodyVox and Third Angle will bring to the Schnitzer stage a new creation entitled Water Bodies. Using water as a metaphor for the human condition, the work will grow in intensity much the way a river grows in volume as it flows toward the sea. Divided into 13 linking sections, Water Bodies will be a theatrical journey that skillfully blends live dance, film and projections with a wide-ranging musical score by John Adams, Aaron J. Kernis, Michael Torke, and others, performed live by Third Angle?s superb musicians. The dance movement style, as choreographed by Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland with Eric Skinner, will be signature BodyVox: athletic, witty, lyrical, and vibrantly beautiful.
