Learn how “water works” throughout our community! The Frazier Museum is pleased to team up with Louisville Water Company to create a new temporary exhibit, “Water Works: 150 Years of Louisville Water Company.” During this unique professional development, teachers will have the opportunity to experience the exhibit and learn how the history of Louisville Water Company, truly mirrors the history of our city. Participants will discover how water from the Ohio River travels to treatment plants and on to the faucets in our homes. Problems with access to safe drinking water in other parts of the world, and how your students can help, will also be discussed. Staff from the Frazier Museum, Louisville Water Company and Louisville Science Center will provide engaging Social Studies and Science connections for use in your classroom. A light breakfast will be provided.
