(Indianapolis, Ind.) The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Sports Program (RHISP) is thrilled to provide individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to participate in their annual water ski clinic, June 3 and 4. The two-day event will be held at Red Bridge Park in Cicero, Ind.
Open to people of all ages with physical disabilities, as well as their friends and families, participants will enjoy free grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, boat rides, and the chance to soar on top of the water.
“This event represents what summer is all about - getting outside, enjoying the sun and fresh air,” said Karen Lawrence, RHISP event coordinator. “Our participants love this clinic because they get to experience the freeing of flying on top of the water. They always tell us it’s a incredible rush.”
RHISP’s water ski event has become extremely popular throughout the years and continues to be a magnificent program attracting many people with disabilities from across the state.
