"Watch Out For That...Tree!" - Parks and People Foundation's Community and Park Safety Workshop July 21, 2007

With summer bringing sunny skies and warm temperatures, more people will be heading outdoors for fun and recreation. To best prepare park users and individuals interested in undertaking park projects for safe outings during these months, the Parks & People Foundation is offering an informative Community & Park Safety Workshop on Saturday, July 21 at the Parks & People office. Topics include: Design for Safety, Perception vs. Reality, Field Safety, and What You Can Do.

Registration is free and open to the public until July 18. A light breakfast and lunch are provided during the workshop.
