The Washington Wizards have just three wins on the season through their first 26 games, giving the Wizards a 3-23 record. Washington has one of the worst offenses in the league, averaging a measly 88.6 points per outing. Defensively the Wizards are better than you may expect, but with this offense play as poor as it is, it doesn't matter much. Washington's last outing was against the Cavs on Wednesday, and the Wizards fell to Cleveland 87-84 in Washington, increasing the Wizards losing streak to eight games.

The Orlando Magic are just 12-16 on the season, and the Magic are falling further and further behind the Heat in the Southeast standings as Orlando is now on a three game losing streak, and trail Miami by nine games. Orlando's defense is once again the backbone of this team, as the Magic are ranked seventh overall in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 94.4 points per game. Like the Wizards however, Orlando has had trouble putting points on the board consistently, which has hurt them this season.

The Washington Wizards are 12-12-2 on the season against the spread so far, and while playing at home, the Wizards are 5-7-1 against the number. The Orlando Magic are 14-13-1 against the spread this season, and while traveling, the Magic are a solid 9-3-1 against the spread.

The Magic are the better team overall, but I just don't like the way Orlando matches up with the Wizards. Orlando's strength offensively is in the paint, which plays right into the hands of the Wizards as Washington has one of the best defenses inside in the league. Look for the Magic to have to force the ball outside against the Wizards, where Orlando is not strong. I definitely have a hard time putting much faith in the Wizard's offense, but I think the Magic are in a bad spot here and I'll take the points at home with the Wizards on Friday.
