Washington Photo Safari is pleased to announce a new 5 - evening program for intermediate and advanced photographers wishing to improve their skills under the direction of a top portrait, wedding and event photographer, Bob Blanken. his five-session series is designed to boost photographic awareness and ability: to purposefully take your image quality and impact to new levels. Class participation and the work captured in-between class assignments will drive the learning environment. Assignments will range from people and objects to cityscapes and landscapes, encompassing the need to master many elements. Each session will include the critical components of exposure and white balance control, composition, storytelling, points-of-view, the decisive moment, color or black & white, and photo enhancements.During each class, images will be projected, reviewed and critiqued.Everyone learns from every image shown. New Ideas are on display for all to see, adopt and implement. This series is not for the thin-skinned or reluctant. Rather, it is for those serious about mastering their craft, and creating better images for themselves and their audience, be they client, family, friend or for fine art use.The First AssignmentUsing a jump-drive, CF/SD card or CD/DVD, bring examples of your five favorite photos, and five shots that you know need improvement.This series is not for the thin-skinned.
