The most comprehensive indoor wine and food event in the mid-Atlantic returns to the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center – featuring the introduction of “Wine & Food Festival Week,” a series of nightly vintner dinners at distinguished restaurants in the nation’s capital. To accommodate the massive growth experienced by the event over the years, space being utilized at the Reagan Building has been further increased for 2008, and the Festival will again run for three days instead of two. Over 200 international and domestic wineries will pour some 800 wines, and for the first time ever, spirits will be poured at the Grand Tasting.. Highlights include the 2nd Annual Grand Cru Wine Lounge (sold out in 2007); Seminars featuring experts such as Wine Spectator’s Gloria Maroti Frazee and Doug Frost MS, MW; plus Chef Demonstrations and other special events. http://www.dcwinefestival.com or http://www.wine-expos.com
