An elegant and fun cocktail reception for humans and their well-behaved leashed canine companions at historic Union Station. Highlights include gourmet vegetarian and vegan cuisine, open bar, and silent auction. This year’s Gala benefits the League’s Disaster Rescue Fund, which transports animals affected by natural and manmade catastrophes to the League for rehabilitation and placement in loving homes. VIP reception runs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by the Gala from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
