Walking Tour of Palmer Cemetery May 8, 2011

At the heart of Fishtown is the final resting place of generations of Kensignton and Fishtown residents, dating from the French and Indian War until Desert Storm. Tour historic Palmer Cemetery and 11 other historic cemetery sites as described by celebrated local historian and five-time author Kenneth W. Milano. The tour encompasses a 3-mile loop through Kensington and Fishtown, ending at Palmer Cemetery at Memphis and Palmer Streets, only a few blocks from the starting point.
