Tyler Potterfield, author of Nonesuch Place: A History of the Richmond Landscape, leads a walk through historic Byrd Park. Learn about its lakes, buildings, waterworks, Carillon, Dogwood Dell and the city's first tree nursery. Participants will gain an appreciation of the landscape of Richmond's largest park. Meet your guide at the Christopher Columbus statue at the southern end of the Boulevard.
