Wakefield Armed Forces day June 29, 2013

Wakefield Armed Forces Day (WAFD) is a organisation with the aim of raising public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in HM Armed Forces. Armed Forces Day was originally started as an annual opportunity for the nation to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, and from veterans to cadets.

This year AFD will be on Saturday 29th June 2013 at Nostell Priory. The day is a fun family day with, Military Displays, Attractions and Stalls, and much more.
