Waiting for what? September 1, 2006

The work is shaped around the concept of waiting, why people waits, where they wait or what they do while they wait. Waiting occurs everywhere at any time and people do the most varied things while waiting. Some wait for the bus while kissing each other. Some wait for the birth of their child, some wait some more to have children. Some wait for a telephone call while reading a book. Some wait to let somebody else speak. Some wait for a webpage to load while chewing gum. Some wait for international aid. Some wait for the right time to act. Some wait until it's too late. Some don't wait enough and come too early. Waiting is weaved into every aspect of our lives, into our very protocols of communication. Waiting can be beneficial, indeed essential, while some forms of waiting can be unproductive and detrimental.

We shall wait no longer to put up a show. Come to see our work at the opening party before it's too late. Really... why wait?
