Nashville artist Wade Lincoln works are of a distinctive style of heavily textured acrylic on canvas panel, reminiscent of stained glass. His work also is in the handcrafted quarter sawn oak frames with hand rubbed bungalow brown stain finish. He is greatly influenced by works of the Arts & Crafts era, like the art tile and pottery of Rookwood and Grueby, and the furniture of Stickley and the Roycrofters. Their work shows the deep, personal relationship between the craft and the craftsman.
