VSA International Young Soloists Concert May 5, 2011

WHAT: VSA, the international organization on arts and disability, presents the 2011 VSA International Young Soloists Concert, part of a program to support outstanding young musicians with disabilities in their pursuit of a career. This year’s selected musicians include, Mandy Harvey, a 23-year-old jazz singer from Denver; James Schlender, a 17-year-old violinist/fiddler from Bozeman, Mont.; and Ráchel Skleničková, an 18-year-old classical pianist from Chodov, Czech Republic.
