INTERNATIONAL CONCERTS , a not for profit organization that promotes diverse cultures, and assists emerging artists, will honor the Latin Community and its culture in a Gala Concert at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, on Saturday, January 30, at 8 pm, featuring INDIA, TITO ROJAS, and MILLIE QUEZADA, all three Top BILLBOARD ARTISTS, and recipients of multiple awards, including Grammies, Latin Grammies, Billboard, Paoli and Ace Awards, performing great hits from their platinum and gold recordings. PACO NAVARRO, well known host of Latin Radio is MASTER OF CEREMONIES. A Lifetime achievement award will be presented to Heitor Maisonave for his pioneering work in promoting and publicizing Latin Music and its artists.

THE ARTISTS:

LA INDIA . known as “La Princesa de la Salsa”, won early acclaim for her recordings with Tito Puente and the Count Basie Orchestra. She appeared and recorded with Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Eddie Palmieri and others, has been nominated for two Grammys, and won multiple Billboard Awards.

MILLIE QUEZADA, “Queen of Merengue”, has received Two Grammy Awards, Multiple Billboard Awards, Ace and Paoli Awards, New York Globe Awards, honors and recognition from various governments including Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic, Her recordings are groundbreaking in Merengue Music.

TITO ROJAS, known as “El Gallo Salsero” has received multiple Billboard Awards, Ace and Paoli Awards, and several Grammy nominations. He is the recipient of many international awards including the Guaca de Oro of Panama, Columbia’s Novelas Award, Premio Discorona de Venezuela, Premios Diplo de PR, and many others.

ISIDRO INFANTE, Music Director has won four Grammys, multiple Billboard, Ace and Paoli Awards. Pianist, producer and Director, Infante has worked with Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, Hector Lavoe, Ruben Blades, Marc Anthony, Stevie Wonder, among others, in concert and recordings.

PACO NAVARRO, well-known Latin Radio and TV celebrity, is the evening’s Host.
