?Voyeur Voyeur: A Look at Our Lives? is a new exhibit of work by artist Daniel Borlandelli.

The paintings and sculptures that he is exhibiting illustrate what Borlandelli envisions or imagines is happening in New York City skyscrapers. Borlandelli says, ?I will never run out of ideas living in New York and coming across so many characters everyday.?

Borlandelli?s works exemplify lust, power and lost inhibitions and are same time sensual and erotic while showing the mysteries that lie behind Manhattan skyscrapers.

?This show relates to life in New York City and the voyeurism of people who live in these buildings.?

Born in Uruguay, Borlandelli has been living and working in Long Island City, New York since 1989. He studied both fine art and furniture design in Uruguay and has devoted his life to art. He feels the need to communicate through his paintings and designs. Borlandelli has shown his work at the Museum of American Art in Maldonado, Uruguay and at the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center in Brooklyn.

The opening of ?Voyeur Voyeur ? will be on January 8th from 12 - 4PM at the 43 8th Avenue Gallery and runs through January 22nd.
