Voyageur Saxaphone Quartet April 2, 2011

The members of Voyageur Saxophone Quartet, all from Stevens Point, are David Hastings on soprano saxophone, Jenny Bellmer-Callope on alto saxophone, Jeff Erickson on tenor saxophone and Clarke Crandell on baritone saxophone. The group performs works covering a wide variety of time periods and musical styles including Renaissance master Orlando Gibbons, Russian Romantic composer Alexander Glazounov, the Klezmer writing of Mike Curtis and a piece by the Argentinean Tango composer Astor Piazzola, to name a few. There will be something for everyone's enjoyment!
