Voter Power presents, the ten piece Afrobeat ensemble ALBINO!, Saturday, February 21st at the Old Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St. Ashland OR, with opening act Ashland’s Own Oregon Transplant.

Aerial artist Susanita, beer and wine garden, food by Pita Pit, and loads of cool giveaways. Doors open at 8:00pm, show starts at 8:30pm. Sponsored by The Dragon Fire Smoke Shop and The Pita Pit. Tickets are $12 in advance, and $15 at the door.

ALBINO! Is a San Francisco-based, ten piece Afrobeat ensemble that honors the fiery legacy of Nigerian musical icon and political outlaw, Fela Kuti. Albino’s high energy grooves and explosive stage show thick with hypnotic percussion, heavy horns, African dance, wild costumes and elaborate group choreography won the band top honors at the SF Music Awards for “Best World Music” and have firmly established the band as the West Coast’s premiere Afrobeat act.
