One of Rande Gerber's finest, UNDERBAR is a hip, sexy sanctuary with a dark and edgy atmosphere. It brings back the youthful memories of the days when the best parties were held in the basement. It is a cozy lair that sets the scene for great cocktails and seduction.
Upon entry, guests are escorted down a floating candlelit staircase, which opens into the 2,000 square foot space. The glowing back bar and the candle sconces lining the walls complement the grand, low-lit room.
The space is lined with ultra-exclusive private niches, draped in layers of sensual, translucent curtains. Some of the layers contain cut out windows, allowing VIPs to peek out from their banquet, while keeping them hidden through silhouettes. The private alcoves are designed in floor-to-ceiling red velvet padded walls and plush couches covered in pillows.
