VOLUNTEER: National Trails Day at Forest Park, Sat. June 2

Team up with REI, Portland Parks and Recreation, and Friends of Forest Park to maintain and restore trails in Forest Park.

WHERE: Off Skyline Blvd. to Germantown Road. We'll work on two sites along Germantown Road. Limited parking, carpooling is encouraged. (Short car shuttles from Skyline Blvd and Germantown Road to the site may be necessary)

WHAT: Trail maintenance on Leif Erikson, Wildwood and Cannon trails that will include fixing erosion issues with culverts, bridges and more. There will be something for everyone!

WHAT TO BRING: Long pants, gloves, water, snack

FUN FACTS:
Check in 8:30 - 9:00 AM
REI will start your day with a continental breakfast. To reduce waste, please bring your own coffee mug/cup.

As a thank you, volunteers will receive an REI Volunteer t-shirt.

A sweepstakes will end the work day and all volunteers are eligible to win prizes from REI and partners.
