Volunteer 1st Sunday of Every Month May 2, 2009

We are seeking *20 - 25 team players* to join us for our Volunteer Days Event on Sunday.
*We need: WAREHOUSE ORGANIZERS *
These volunteers help organize and move building materials, reducing the flow of materials into the waste-stream and making it easier for the community to find and reuse resources.

Volunteers assist staff in sorting, organizing, labeling, loading, and unloading of donated building materials to be sold at our Center.Duties range from sorting tile and lighting to measuring, performing inventory and de-nailing incoming lumber. These are educational, fun and often physically exhilarating volunteer projects.

This event is expected to take (2) 4-hour shifts beginning at 10 am. All shifts end at 6 pm.
*We are located* at 461 Timpson Place in the Bronx, (3 short blocks from the #6 Train's 143rd & 149th stops).

*REQUIREMENTS:*
Volunteers must be 14 years or older to work in the warehouse.Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or have written parental
permission.

We request volunteers to commit (1) 4-hour shift on either the 10am - 2pm or the 2 to 6 pm shift. If you would love to
volunteer the entire day you are more than welcome.
