Voices of Rwanda's mission is to film and preserve testimonies of Rwandans, and to ensure that their stories inform the world about genocide and inspire a global sense of responsibility to prevent human rights atrocities. These testimonies will be made available in an archive in Rwanda and the United States and will be used in high schools across America to help educate students about the Rwandan genocide that claimed over 800,000 lives in 100 days.

On October 25th, between 6PM-9PM, we will be holdiong an inaugural fundraiser in The Museum of Jewish Heritage, at 36 Battery Park in Manhattan, NY. The evening will feature cocktails and Rwandan food, notable speakers, a musical performance by Jean Paul Samputu and Ingeli of Rwanda and a presentation of the work that Voices of Rwanda has been doing. We have been filming in Rwanda and the United States, and permanent foundations will be laid on the ground in Rwanda next year. This fundraiser will make the continued efforts of Voices of Rwanda possible.

Tickets start at $65. To request an invitation, send your mailing address to [email protected], or visit our website.
