Forum Art Gallery is presenting ‘Vivaldi’a 4 Seasons’, paintings by
Thota Tharrani. ‘Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons’, based on Antonio Vivaldi’s 1723
concertos of the same name, is the artist & 8217 portrayal of the
four seasons as depicted in Vivaldi’s Baroque composition. The moods of
the seasons have been expressed using bold primary colours, each season
having its individual predominant colour. The harmony in the seasons is
depicted through a common factor — strong rhythmic strokes
corresponding to the ascending and descending sounds of the violin’s
bow. ‘Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons’ have been portrayed in bright colours using
bold strokes with dots flying all over the canvas depicting the mood of
Vivaldi’s symphony as visualised by the artist. Spring, Summer, Autumn
and Winter delineate themselves in an enchanting array of lines and
tones.
