Viva La Art! ART, DRINKS & MUSIC July 25, 2009

Join Viva! and Philanthro Productions for a night of art, drinks & music to help raise funds for Children's Law Center (CLC), helping foster children in Los Angeles enrich their lives. We will be hosting a silent art auction & gallery party featuring 25+ pieces by renowned artists and music by celebrity DJ Casey Connor.

Los Angeles County represents one of the largest foster care systems in the nation, with over 25,000 children placed in temporary homes as a result of severe abuse, negligence, and abandonment.

In an effort to support these foster youths, Viva La Art!, in partnership with Philanthro Productions, is hosting a benefit party at The Wokcano Lounge in Santa Monica this Saturday, July 25. The benefit, a silent art auction and gallery, will feature donated artworks of 25+ renowned artists.

Attendees will have a chance to bid to purchase the artwork with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Children's Law Center of Los Angeles (CLC). CLC is a non-profit legal services provider whose work extends beyond the courtroom to provide each foster child with opportunities to get involved in local art and music programs.

The evening will also feature music provided by celebrity DJ Casey Connor -- who has DJ'ed for Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Kanye West, Madonna and many more.
