31st Annual holiday event to feature boutique, silent and live auction, luncheon, fashion show and performance by Ballet Arizona

Who: The Auxiliary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale

What: Local residents are invited to indulge in a dazzling day of friends, fashion, food and fun at the 31st annual holiday event Visions of Sugarplums, presented by The Auxiliary of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and taking place on Monday, November 21, 2011.

Early arrivers may browse the boutique, overflowing with handcrafted treasures and gourmet food gifts. After which guests can mingle through the lavish silent auction and enjoy a luncheon, live auction, fashion show and a dance from β€œThe Nutcracker,” performed by Ballet Arizona.

All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Individual tickets, a portion of which is tax-deductible, are $75 each or a table can be purchased to enjoy with a group of friends.

About The Auxiliary of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale:
Since 1964, raising money for the Boys & Girls Clubs has been the focus for The Auxiliary. In the past five years, The Auxiliary has given more than $1,000,000 to the Clubs. With a membership of more than 150 women, they are proud of their fundraising and service projects and support more than 1,700 youth per day in nine branches and 12 outreach sites, located in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, the Northeast Valley, Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and the Hualapai Indian Community in Peach Springs, Arizona. The Clubs promote positive youth development by offering more than 100 programs designed to develop character and life enhancing skills. The five core program areas are: the arts; character and leadership development; education and career development; health and life skills, including gang prevention and counseling against dangers of substance abuse; and sports & fitness. Youth attending the Clubs frequently have a higher GPA.
